Astros fans, the family experience at Minute Maid Park is better than ever with Family Sundays, presented by Minute Maid and Kroger. Take in the sights and sounds of Astros baseball along with our featured family-friendly activities at every Sunday home game in 2011.
Family Sundays include a Kids Fun Zone in the lobby of Union Station from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. featuring:
- Inflatable games including a moon walk, giant slide and sea of balls
- Video games including Wii and MLB 2K Sports
- Face painters
- Balloon artists
- Wax hands
- Photos with Astros mascots Junction Jack, Junction Julie and/or Cousin Jesse
- ...and more!
Kids Fun Zone available for children 14 years or under. Must have a valid game ticket to enter.
Kids Take The Field
Every Sunday a select group of kids, ages 5-14, will have the opportunity to take the field with Astros players for the National Anthem. Visit your local Kroger store, or text "kids" to 26099, to register your kids for a chance to win this once in a lifetime opportunity to take the field with the Astros!
Kids Run The Bases
After the game, all kids 14 and under will be invited down to the field level to run the bases.
