HOUSTON LEARN HOW TO SWIM PROGRAMS

Learn to Swim

The Houston Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the American Red Cross, offers Learn to Swim classes for both children and adults during the summer season. A $25 fee is required per session. A session includes eight (8) 40 minute classes (Note: Pre-school Aquatics is a 30 minute class). Classes are scheduled Tuesday through Friday and the first class of each session will involve skills screening. A parent or guardian must be present at the pool during all youth classes. All participants must be 6 years old or older (except Pre-school Aquatics members). See registration form for more details.

You may pay for your class by check or money order, payable to American Red Cross. Credit card payment may be made online at
www.houstonredcross.org/learn-to-swim or at ARC Chapter Headquarters. A cash payment can only be made at ARC Chapter Headquarters.

Registration applications are available at all HPARD community centers, aquatic centers, and at the American Red Cross Headquarters, 2700 Southwest Freeway, Houston, TX 77098. You may register for classes online or by mail. Space is limited! Pre-registration is strongly encouraged!
